Managing your own absence and leave requests

Easily manage your absence and leave requests directly from your My Silae mobile application.

Making an absence and leave request

Is the add button, represented by a "+", not displayed in your personal area? The “Absences and leave” module may not be activated for your company, or you may not be assigned to any team. Contact your My Silae contact person/administrator.

  • Click the add button, represented by a "+".
  • Select the type of absence, then click Continue.
  • Set the absence dates, then click Continue.
  • The absence summary is displayed.
  • You can add a comment, for example to indicate whether it concerns the morning or afternoon in the case of a "Half day" absence.
  • You can attach a proof to the absence request.
  • Click Send request.

  • Go to My calendar.
  • In week or month view, click the relevant day.
  • Click the add button, represented by a "+", then enter the absence details.

Deleting an absence request waiting for approval

As long as your request is "Waiting for approval", you can delete it.

  • Open the request.
  • Click Delete.
  • Confirm deletion of the request.
  • The request is no longer displayed in the pending requests.
  • The request is no longer "Waiting for approval" for the Manager.

Cancelling an approved request

Has an absence request been approved by your Manager? You can request its cancellation as long as the absence has not been included in a payslip.

  • Open the request.
  • Click Cancel.
  • You can add a comment to justify your cancellation request (optional).

Your request is "Pending cancellation"; you can find it in the My pending requests tab. Your Manager receives a notification. When they approve (or deny) your cancellation request, you will also receive a notification.
