Entering variables and hours
đžVariables
đ Payroll cycle tab > Variables edition
The administrator can access the variables table retrieved from mySilae Paie. They can enter payroll variable items for all the company's employees or for certain categories of employees:
If there are more than 10 employees, pagination is created in groups of 10.
Filters by employee and employee group, as well as a search bar, allow the administrator to access simplified data entry.
Searches are performed only on employees' surnames and first names.
When entering variables, coloured dots indicate whether the saved values are valid:
- Red dot: the data entered is incorrect or missing
- Blue dot: the data is being loaded
- Green dot: the data entered is correct and synchronised with mySilae Paie
To save a new entry, you must press the Enter key on your keyboard.
By clicking Refresh, the administrator can instantly retrieve the variables entered in mySilae Paie by the payroll manager. This has no effect on values that have already been entered.
The most recent entry is the one taken into account for payroll.
đžHours
From this tab, the administrator can access the overtime/additional hours table. They can enter overtime and additional hours for all the company's employees or filter by specific employees:
The list of employees visible to the administrator depends on their configured rights.
đžManaging comments

đ Payroll cycle tab > On-Demand Pay - manual
The administrator can enter advance payments from this screen:
A window opens in which to enter:
- The relevant employee
- The payment date: it is not possible to enter a future date
- The amount of the advance payment
- The description of the advance payment: by default, the text âAdvance payment of DD/MM/YYYYâ is displayed; it can be changed. This description is visible on the payslip
Only advance payments for the current period are visible:
đ Note:
It is not possible to enter a date in the past (greyed out)
Approving variables
đ Payroll cycle tab > Cycle validation
The administrator can view the summary of the variables, hours, absences and declared advance payments (according to their rights) entered for all employees. The values are locked: any changes must be made from the corresponding menus.
Once the administrator has completed their checks, they can give final approval by clicking Approve payroll cycle:
Â
Draft payslips are automatically calculated if no mask has been applied to certain payroll variable columns in the module settings. Otherwise, the payroll manager must run the calculation in mySilae Paie.
Once the administrator has completed entering the variables in mySilae Entreprise, the payroll manager is notified by email of the approval report.
The administrator can find all the variable approval reports by clicking View history.
The payroll manager can reopen variable entry from mySilae Paie.
See the article The administrator cannot enter variables. What should they do?
