💻 Available features

Absences

🔸Managing an absence request

Employees can enter and track their absence requests by clicking Calendar or Absences and mobility, available from the left-hand menu:

The Calendar menu enables employees to view their own schedule or those of other employees (depending on the settings configured for the account), view their leave counters and submit their absence requests.

It is possible to choose the calendar display options:

  • Choose a weekly or monthly view
  • Choose the month to display: one rolling month is displayed
  • Choose the schedule to display (personal or that of their team, if the option was enabled in the initial settings by the payroll manager)
  • Access the legend via the icon

Employees can also enter an absence request, a remote work request and a sick leave request from their dashboard:

The Absences and mobility menu enables employees to find their absences (approved and awaiting approval), with the option to filter by date and status:

➡️ Several options for entering an absence:

  • Click once on the first day of the absence in the schedule in the Calendar menu
  • Click in the top right-hand corner of the screen, from the Calendar or Absences and mobility menu

Whichever option is selected, a panel appears on the right:

  1. Select the type of absence (the list of available absence types varies depending on the settings configured by the payroll manager)
  2. Select whether it is a full day or a half-day
  3. Check or enter the absence dates and enter a comment if required (optional)
  4. Attach one or more proofs for the absence (optional or mandatory depending on the settings applied)
  5. Click Save

The manager is notified by email that an employee on their team has submitted an absence request.

Once the absence has been approved or denied by the manager, the employee is also notified by email.

➡️ Option to cancel or delete an absence:

  • If the absence has been approved: the employee can submit a cancellation request for their absence. In this case, the manager receives an email to approve or deny the request.

If the manager approves the request, the absence changes to Cancelled status:

  • If the absence is awaiting approval: the employee can click Delete in the absence request summary.
The absence changes to Deleted status:

If an absence has been included on a payslip, no further action is possible, either by the employee or by the manager.

🔸Uploading a proof of absence

Depending on the reason for absence entered by the employee in mySilae Entreprise, a proof may be requested. This depends on the settings configured for the account.

Example: in the event of sickness absence, the employee must upload a proof (their medical certificate). Here, the proof is mandatory:

In the event of sick leave, the employee has 7 days from the first day of their leave to enter it in their mySilae Entreprise personal area.

🔸Viewing leave balances

Employees can view the details of their current leave balances by clicking Calendar, and run a simulation.

All booked annual leave and RTT are included in the projected counters as soon as the absence is entered, even before approval by the manager.

It is also possible to run a simulation up to 12 months into the future by clicking the right arrow and then selecting a period:

🔸Viewing colleagues' absence schedules

From the Calendar menu, employees can view their colleagues' absence schedules. 2 filters are available:

  • Management team: corresponds to employees who have the same manager
  • Transverse team: corresponds to employees whose calendars the employee can view. This filter may be hidden if no transverse team has been configured.

Remote work

🔸Managing and tracking remote work

Remote work days may have been configured as mandatory: in this case, the employee does not need to enter them.

If the days are not mandatory and the company allows remote work to be entered in mySilae Entreprise, employees can enter their remote work days and half-days by clicking Remote work:

Remote work requests can also be entered from the Calendar and Absences and mobility menus.

➡️ Entering a remote work request:

  1. Select one or more remote work days, subject to the remote work rules shown below the calendar:

  2. Click Next to access the summary. The employee can then:
    • delete one or more days
    • add a comment for their manager
  3. Click Approve

➡️ Managing and tracking remote work requests:

📍 Calendar menu > Remote work tab

Employees can easily identify their remote work days, as well as those of their team:

They can also submit a request by clicking the button in the top right-hand corner, or directly in their calendar (in the latter case, the request is recorded and automatically sent to the manager).

If remote work half-days are authorised, employees can specify this in their request by selecting Morning or Afternoon:

📍 Absences and mobility menu > Remote work tab

Employees can find a summary of all their past and future remote work requests.

Remote work requests approved in payroll can no longer be cancelled by the employee or the manager. Only the administrator can perform this action.

Synchronising your calendar with Outlook

Synchronising your mySilae calendar with your Outlook calendar is possible only for accounts with a personal area.

📍 My account menu > Synchronisations tab

  • Only absences recorded after synchronisation was activated are visible
  • Remote work days and absences recorded in hours are not synchronised with the Outlook calendar
  • By default, absences are displayed under the title “mySilae Absence”, with no option to display the associated reason
  • This synchronisation is currently incompatible with another email service (Google, Yahoo, etc.)
