🎯 Objective
This guide is intended to support you through the final stages of module initialization after your payment account has been approved.
You will learn how to define the company bank account that will fund the payment account dedicated to On-Demand Pay, sign the direct debit mandate authorizing automatic top-ups, configure the funding rules to ensure that funds are available, and then synchronize employees’ bank details to enable the automatic creation of beneficiaries and payment of On-Demand Pay.
⚙️ Module initialization
Once the account has been approved, the legal representative must complete the service initialization.
- Click Continue module activation, then Get started.
Configuration is completed in 3 steps:
- Account to be debited
- Direct debit mandate
- Minimum balance
Account to be debited
Define the bank account that will be debited to fund the payment account dedicated to salary advances. Direct debits will be taken automatically from this account according to the funding rules defined. Then follow the validation instructions on your smartphone.
If you wish to deny automatic funding, see the section “ Deny automatic funding during activation ” in this same article. You can switch to automatic mode at any time afterwards.
SEPA direct debit mandate
The legal representative must:
Download the direct debit mandate.
Send it to their bank, according to the usual procedures of their banking institution.
Declare in mySilae Entreprise that the mandate has been sent.
This confirmation enables the banking partner to initiate the initial direct debit intended to fund the payment account. Once this direct debit has been successfully completed, the account is approved and the On-Demand Pay module is fully operational.
📌 Please note:
until the mandate has been sent and the initial direct debit has been completed, the payment account remains pending approval and the On-Demand Pay module is not accessible to employees.
Minimum balance
Define a minimum balance amount for your payment account for managing On-Demand Pay. An automatic top-up will be made to ensure that the balance remains positive. The minimum balance is €2,000.00.
📌 Please note: This amount will be debited automatically after the payment account has been approved and the direct debit mandate has been sent to your bank.
Click Confirm. The On-Demand Pay module is then initialized.
Remember to send the SEPA mandate to your bank.
⚙️ TO DO
One final step consists of completing the identification process from your smartphone, declaring that the signed mandate has been sent to your bank, and synchronizing the IBANs. These actions complete the module activation.
The legal representative will receive a confirmation email indicating that the On-Demand Pay module has been activated and that employees can now use it.
- Identification process
- SEPA mandate
- IBANs to synchronize
Identification process
Click Complete, then validate your profile from your smartphone.
SEPA mandate
You can download the SEPA mandate if necessary. However, it is essential to click Declare mandate transmission to confirm that it has been sent to your bank.
IBANs to synchronize
Click Synchronize. A new page opens and prompts you to check your phone, then follow the link received by SMS to confirm your request. You can then validate the synchronization of all your employees’ IBANs.
📌 Please note :
The VOP (Verification of Payee) is carried out during this synchronization. If the holder of the bank account does not match the name recorded in payroll, the employee will not be able to access this feature. However, if the names are similar, it is possible to force the creation of the beneficiary after verifying the information. This restriction complies with the regulations in force since September 2025, which block the execution of the transfer in the event of a mismatch.
⚙️Deny automatic funding during activation
From the Account to be debited step, a Decline button is also available, allowing the legal representative not to set up automatic funding when activating the module.
- A confirmation window appears, reminding you that without this setting, the legal representative will have to make regular transfers themselves to maintain a sufficient balance in the payment account.
- Click Continue without automatic funding to confirm, or Cancel to return to the form.
📌 Please note: Without automatic funding, you are responsible for manually funding your payment account. If the balance is less than the maximum amount to which an employee is entitled, that employee will not be able to submit a salary advance request.
Once confirmed, the legal representative can access the Automatic funding cancelled tile, which displays the IBAN of the payment account. They can therefore make a manual transfer to this account themselves.
📌 Please note: once confirmed, the payment account remains in the Waiting for minimum balance status, with an Automatic funding cancelled alert reminding you that the balance must reach at least €2,000 before employees can request salary advances. Only the Identification process and IBANs to synchronise steps of the TO DO remain necessary; as no SEPA mandate has been created, there is nothing to declare in this regard.
